Richard Murphy is one of the few chartered accountants I respect and admire. He writes extensively about tax and although he and I do not agree on everything, he never engages in scaremongering. So when I saw a mention on his blog that HMRC are going to clamp down on tax evaders I thought it was worth reading as too often these stories are written to create more income or more publicity for the big firms. |

UK dividends and the higher rate (40%) taxpayer |
